McDonald's

They've forgotten the concept of fast food here... it's not uncommon to spend 15 minutes at the drive-thru even though there's no one in line or in the store... The staff are friendly, but the burgers are disappointing and the fries are often white. In short, a McDonald's taking advantage of its monopoly in the sector.

This is my third visit in two months, at different times, and each time the food has been cold. This time, for once, an employee offered to heat it up, and without any surprise, unlike the last two times. The cleanliness of the tables isn't always great either.

Getting worse and worse. Tables are always dirty and the drive-thru is a disaster. Orders completed on the first try are rare. Forget about (deliberately?) the toys at H&M during the World Cup. A regular customer lost. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Another half-empty McFlurry for €4.90. At that price, the least they could do is serve the advertised quantity – it's nowhere near as good as the picture! Between missing items in orders and small portions (cheddar fries, ice cream...), the quality of service is becoming truly disappointing.

I found the staff young and friendly!

Not to mention the quality, which keeps going down while the price keeps going up (but that's true of all McDonald's), the new paint job makes it look like a kindergarten parent-teacher meeting, there's a rotten egg smell that hits you as soon as you walk in, the tables are filthy, the floor hasn't been cleaned in ages... with fries everywhere... It would be okay if it were rush hour... but all this at 3 pm with three people inside and employees chatting away at a corner table! And don't even get me started on the restrooms... they're truly appalling, I don't understand why they haven't been shut down by the health department...!!

Ordered for €40, arrived home and a complete meal was missing. Unpleasant staff (a young man with effeminate, haughty manners).

We were served by Katia, super fast and helpful service, she even put a double dose of pistachio in my McFlurry! #katiaupgrade

I wanted to take the time to do a review of this McDonald’s because I was so impressed with my recent visit. My husband and I are from the UK and we recently visited twice during a two overnight stays at a nearby camping site en route to and from Spain in our motorhome. The first time we ordered dinner and were impressed by how tasty and hot the food was. The second time we went for breakfast before getting back on a loooong road journey. We couldn’t find any breakfast items on the screen so we enlisted the help of Cassandra. It is an understatement to say she was absolutely lovely and could not do enough to help us. She was engaging, warm and made us feel like it was a pleasure for her to help us. We managed to get everything we needed and she even gave us some extra sauces etc without us asking. The food was hot and fresh and tasty and she was so nice in wishing us a pleasant journey. The restaurant was clean and spacious and we commented on how we wished the food and staff were as good at home!

As a regular customer of the McDonald's in Les Martres-de-Veyre for several years, I have unfortunately noticed a steady decline in service for over a year. With almost every order: * cold or lukewarm fries, * mistakes in the sandwiches, * missing sauces or other items ordered, * poorly assembled or presented products. May 28, 2026, was the last straw: a Big Mac ordered without cheese... served with cheese, a McFlurry without chocolate sauce, and fries that were barely warm. The most frustrating thing is having to check every order in the parking lot before leaving. This level of quality is unacceptable for a chain like McDonald's. For comparison, I regularly go to the McDonald's in Vichy and I have never encountered these kinds of recurring problems there. It's high time that this establishment underwent a serious review of its management and quality control.

Today we met Inês, the night shift manager, and her team. They deserve a 10/10! I received excellent service.
