I found this restaurant very interesting nonetheless. The food was very good, the staff very welcoming, the decor was well done, everything was beautiful. I recommend it.

For those of you looking to spend a delightful time in a unique restaurant this Easter weekend, I recommend a visit to Le Petit Gargantua, located within the magnificent Château de Mezel. Chef Thierry has created a three-course Easter menu that I have no doubt will entice you to return. The owner, Jacqueline, will welcome you with her characteristic warmth and serve you the exquisite dishes prepared by the Chef. Don't hesitate to book now, as knowing Chef Thierry's talent, space is limited. I wish you all bon appétit and a wonderful Easter weekend at Le Petit Gargantua Restaurant.

Hello, We chose this restaurant out of curiosity, given the numerous positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't very pleasant. The service and friendliness were perfectly adequate, but everything else was just acceptable. The setting was rather simplistic, the food average and bland, the wine had a strong Madeira flavor, and the cheese was past its expiration date...in short, I don't like to write negative reviews, but I don't recommend this restaurant, at least not at the moment. Best of luck.

Perfect! Nothing else to say, I've finished the meal and I'm still salivating over the foie gras. We came as a group of six for my wife's birthday, and she was overjoyed. Thank you to Jacqueline for her professionalism and thank you to the chef for the time we spent together at the end of the meal (and of course, for his culinary talent).

A lovely little meal for two, offered to me for my birthday. It was a truly wonderful surprise. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of her way to make the experience as enjoyable as possible, and the chef's skill and experience perfectly complement the rest of the meal. The portions were generous, the food delicious, the prices reasonable, and the wines were good. For us, it was a delightful discovery and a very pleasant surprise. The chef came to chat with us at the end of the meal, which was very kind, and the owner took a photo of the two of us to create a personalized menu at the beginning of our meal—a very thoughtful touch. So, for all your efforts and attention to detail, as well as for the excellent meal, we sincerely thank you. Many establishments should take note and make the same effort to satisfy their customers. The sweetbreads were simply amazing... I highly recommend them. Thank you for everything, and we look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant located in the village castle. We enjoyed an aperitif in the courtyard between the walls. The set menu included a melon carpaccio drizzled with just the right amount of verbena liqueur—a lovely combination. For our main courses, we chose the bull (excellent) and the duck confit (which was every bit as good as the bull). The desserts were delicious, with a slight preference for the chocolate pastry. The welcome and service were very friendly and warm.

The service is very friendly. I've never eaten, but I think it must be nice to have coffee outside my room, but I'm a child.
