Superb restaurant – cool dining room (a welcome respite during the heatwave), excellent and fresh ingredients (the pea and herring soup was delicious!!! The beef tataki was also great), and good desserts. Impeccable service – everyone was very friendly, attentive, and quick despite the restaurant being full.

The welcome was friendly, the service was cheerful, and the salad was decent, but my experience was marred by a particularly serious error regarding a food intolerance. Before ordering, I asked three times if the starter and main course I had chosen contained dairy products. The waitress even went to check with the manager and repeatedly confirmed that there were absolutely none. Yet, from the first bite of the starter (guacamole toast and a soft-boiled egg), I immediately recognized the presence of crème fraîche. I then asked for a fourth confirmation. After going back to check, the waitress returned to tell me that there were indeed dairy products in the dish. I want to emphasize that this wasn't simply a matter of dietary preference. I cannot consume dairy products for health reasons. Fortunately for them, it's an intolerance and not a severe allergy. Otherwise, the consequences could have been much more serious. What bothers me most isn't just the mistake itself, but the lack of awareness of its seriousness. I wasn't offered any real compensation. The starter simply wasn't charged, which seems like the least they could do since it was the wrong one and I didn't eat it. They didn't even offer me coffee. When I went to pay, they presented not charging for the starter as a gesture of goodwill, when it was simply a matter of correcting a mistake by the restaurant. I regret this experience because the welcome was pleasant and the staff seemed friendly. However, when a customer mentions a significant dietary restriction and asks about it repeatedly, such an error reveals a lack of attention to detail that is unacceptable.

A very warm welcome and fresh, seasonal cuisine. On this Pentecost Sunday, we were looking for a place to have lunch for two on our holiday road trip. The Central Bar was one of the few open, and unfortunately, the terrace was packed. We were offered a table inside, but with a good view outside, which suited us perfectly. Our order was taken and served quickly. The fresh Greek salad was perfect for a hot day. It's worth noting the owner's cool head during the busy period, his attentiveness to customers, and his skillful management of his family team, some of whom were still relatively inexperienced. 😉

Welcoming and centrally located. Impossible to walk by without stopping for a drink or more. Cool and fast service.
